Huawei Mate 50 Pro Firmware Flash (Without Security File)
Important Disclaimer:
- Flashing firmware may void your warranty.
- This process will erase all data on your device. Make sure to back up your important files.
- Ensure that the battery of your device is above 50% to avoid any interruptions during the flashing process.
Pre-requisites:
- Huawei Mate 50 Pro (Ensure the device is fully charged).
- A Windows PC or Laptop.
- USB Cable to connect your phone.
- Firmware File for Huawei Mate 50 Pro (without security file).
- Hisuite or Huawei Flash Tool for flashing (or use a custom flashing tool like QFIL or Huawei Multi-Download Tool).
- ADB Drivers and Fastboot (Ensure they're installed on your computer).
Steps for Flashing:
Step 1: Download Firmware
- Download the latest Huawei Mate 50 Pro firmware (ensure it is the official firmware and does not include the security file).
Step 2: Extract the Firmware Files
- Extract the downloaded firmware to a folder on your PC. You'll need the update.app and other related files for flashing.
Step 3: Enable Developer Mode & USB Debugging
- On your Huawei Mate 50 Pro, go to Settings > About Phone and tap on Build Number 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Then, go to Settings > Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
Step 4: Connect Device to PC
- Use a USB cable to connect your phone to the computer. Make sure that File Transfer mode is selected.
Step 5: Launch the Flash Tool
- Open the Huawei Flash Tool (or other flashing software like Hisuite or QFIL).
- If using a tool like QFIL, select Firmware Update or Download.
Step 6: Select Firmware File
- Load the extracted update.app and the required firmware files into the flashing tool.
Step 7: Start Flashing Process
- Click on Start or Download to initiate the flashing process. This might take a few minutes.
- Do not disconnect your phone during the process.
Step 8: Reboot the Phone
- After the flashing is complete, the tool will prompt you to reboot the phone.
- Disconnect your phone and power it on. The new firmware will load.
Troubleshooting Tips:
- If the phone does not boot after flashing, try to perform a factory reset from the recovery menu.
- In case of boot loops or other issues, you might need to reflash the firmware.
Note:
Flashing without a security file can cause certain features (like security or locked bootloaders) to malfunction. If you face issues related to these, make sure you have a backup of your original firmware.
