Huawei Mate 50 Pro Firmware Flash (Without Security File)

Huawei Mate 50 Pro Firmware Flash (Without Security File)

Important Disclaimer:

  • Flashing firmware may void your warranty.
  • This process will erase all data on your device. Make sure to back up your important files.
  • Ensure that the battery of your device is above 50% to avoid any interruptions during the flashing process.

Pre-requisites:

  • Huawei Mate 50 Pro (Ensure the device is fully charged).
  • A Windows PC or Laptop.
  • USB Cable to connect your phone.
  • Firmware File for Huawei Mate 50 Pro (without security file).
  • Hisuite or Huawei Flash Tool for flashing (or use a custom flashing tool like QFIL or Huawei Multi-Download Tool).
  • ADB Drivers and Fastboot (Ensure they're installed on your computer).

Steps for Flashing:

Step 1: Download Firmware

  • Download the latest Huawei Mate 50 Pro firmware (ensure it is the official firmware and does not include the security file).

Step 2: Extract the Firmware Files

  • Extract the downloaded firmware to a folder on your PC. You'll need the update.app and other related files for flashing.

Step 3: Enable Developer Mode & USB Debugging

  • On your Huawei Mate 50 Pro, go to Settings > About Phone and tap on Build Number 7 times to enable Developer Options.
  • Then, go to Settings > Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.

Step 4: Connect Device to PC

  • Use a USB cable to connect your phone to the computer. Make sure that File Transfer mode is selected.

Step 5: Launch the Flash Tool

  • Open the Huawei Flash Tool (or other flashing software like Hisuite or QFIL).
  • If using a tool like QFIL, select Firmware Update or Download.

Step 6: Select Firmware File

  • Load the extracted update.app and the required firmware files into the flashing tool.

Step 7: Start Flashing Process

  • Click on Start or Download to initiate the flashing process. This might take a few minutes.
  • Do not disconnect your phone during the process.

Step 8: Reboot the Phone

  • After the flashing is complete, the tool will prompt you to reboot the phone.
  • Disconnect your phone and power it on. The new firmware will load.

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • If the phone does not boot after flashing, try to perform a factory reset from the recovery menu.
  • In case of boot loops or other issues, you might need to reflash the firmware.

Note:

Flashing without a security file can cause certain features (like security or locked bootloaders) to malfunction. If you face issues related to these, make sure you have a backup of your original firmware.
