Introduction

If you want to update your Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus to OS 12 with AutoPatch, but without losing network settings, follow this easy guide to flash your phone using Odin3.

Requirements:

• Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus (with OS 12 firmware)
• Odin3 Tool
• USB cable
• Samsung USB drivers on your PC
• Backup your data

Steps:

1. Download Files:

• Download the OS 12 firmware (AutoPatch version) and Odin3 tool. Install Samsung USB drivers on your PC.

2. Enable Developer Options:

• Go to Settings > About phone > Tap Build number several times. Then, enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlocking under Developer options.

3. Enter Download Mode:

• Turn off your phone. Press and hold Volume Down + Bixby + Power. Press Volume Up to enter Download Mode.

4. Open Odin3:

• Open Odin3 on your PC. Connect your phone via USB. Odin should detect your device.

5. Add Firmware Files in Odin:

• Load the firmware files into Odin:
  • AP: Select the main firmware file.
  • BL: Bootloader file.
  • CP: Modem file (to keep network settings).
  • CSC: Choose Home CSC (to avoid data reset).

6. Start Flashing:

• Click Start in Odin and wait for the process to finish. Your phone will reboot once done.

7. Setup Your Phone:

• After reboot, complete the setup and enjoy OS 12 with AutoPatch, keeping your network settings intact.
